The Middle Island Clubhouse is the perfect spot for pre and post race socialising or simply hanging out with the children. Whether you hire a dinghy or kayak, help your little ones fish, paddle in the clean water or just sit in the shade and enjoy the view, it’s one of the quietest and most relaxing spots to be found so close to the city.

In fact, after events or a day's sailing many of our regular members tie up or drop of crew at the club pontoon for a quick BBQ and drink before picking up their regular moorings. Middle Island can also be reached on weekends via the club ferry leaving from the main Aberdeen clubhouse every 30 minutes, or by the RHKYC sampan from Deep Water Bay.

Middle Island is also a popular venue for regular themed evening social events. It can be booked for private daytime and evening functions.
