Declaration
>Booking by parent/guardian of the participant
I agree that if my child suffers damage, death or personal injury from whatever cause as a result of him / her participating in the indicated activity, I shall not hold the Aberdeen Boat Club or the instructor liable for such damage, death or personal injury and I make this agreement in full knowledge of the risks inherent in sailing. I also hereby certify that my child can swim.
>Medical
It is important that you notify us of any medical condition that may be relevant to your child’s attendance or any medication that he or she may need. This information will be treated in confidence.
>Payment
Team members who are ABC Members and shall be charged the monthly fee through their ABC account. Non-members shall contact chiefinstructor@abclubhk.com to confirm payment method.
>Inclement Weather
Sessions will be cancelled if a Typhoon Signal No 3 is issued or a Red or Black Rainstorm warning is in force 1.5 hour before the course start time. Training will still go ahead if the Typhoon Signal No 1 or Thunderstorm Warning is issued, but on the water activities will of course not take place if there are any thunderstorms in the local area.
>Promotions
As part of the training, I understand that ABC may photograph participants sailing, and I agree that such photographs may be taken, and on occasion used to promote the courses and sailing activities
